LANSING’S HIGHLAND PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT STARTS IN APRIL

Weather permitting, work will start on the Highland Park project in mid to late April 2019. No road closures are expected with the project, but there will be trucks and equipment around the Park. Motorists are asked to be cautious in the work area.

The project will focus on modernization and safety enhancement for the Park, located on Highland Dr. near Meadow Ln. in Lansing. Existing playground equipment will be removed. Minor excavation work will take place; a circular concrete sidewalk will be poured to surround the playground; a new playground with a rubberized surface will be installed; new park benches will be added and a fence will be placed around the playground. To improve safety, the playground will be centered in the park. Additional signage will be installed and bollards will be placed on the corners of the park.
