Work has begun on the Desoto Rd. improvement project and will continue through the Fall of 2020. Variable message boards have been placed at the north and south ends of the project announcing the road’s closure to through traffic for the next two years.
Motorists are asked to use the following detour routes: heading north, take 4H Rd. east to K-7/Main St., then north to Eisenhower Rd. then west. Southbound travelers are asked to do the reverse: take Eisenhower Rd. east to K-7/Main St., then south to 4H Rd. then west.
The initial Desoto Rd. work will begin just north of 7-Mile Bridge and move north to Holiday Dr.
