Andi Pawlowski was appointed to the City Council in August of 2002 and was elected to a four-year term in April 2003 and re-elected in April 2007. She was elected in 2009 as Council President for 2009-2010. She also served as Council President
from 2007-2008.

Council member Pawlowski has also been featured in Outstanding Young Women of America and Who's Who Among Young American Professionals. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Leavenworth.
Council member Pawlowski was born in 1957 in Iowa City, Iowa. In 1961 she moved to Merriam, Kansas. Council member Pawlowski graduated from Kansas State University in 1979 with a B.S. in Home Economics, Family Life and Human Development. She is currently pursuing a M.S. in Personal Financial Planning. Council member Pawlowski lived in Topeka from 1980 to 1986. She made her way to Lansing in 1986, and started selling real estate for Coldwell Banker. She has won many awards including the Coldwell Banker Presidents Circle Award and the Coldwell Banker Sterling Society Award.
Council member Pawlowski and her husband, Tom, have three children, Clifford, Christopher and Cassandra.
