Museums need the support of the public in order to thrive.  For the Kansas Regional Prisons Museum (KRPM) to become a reality we need your help.  We need volunteers to assist staff members with fundraising and promoting the KRPM.  Current or retired staff members from the Leavenworth County prisons are encouraged to share their experiences working in a prison with the Lansing Historical Museum, as well as perhaps give guided tours.  Their memories will enable the staff to accurately interpret history and provide a unique experience for visitors.  Prison artifacts are needed for future exhibits.  Monetary donations are essential for the construction of the new facility.  Monetary and artifact donations are tax-deductible.

Your support will build a museum that will preserve history and increase the number of tourists to Leavenworth County.  This will bring additional revenue to local businesses.
