Standard complaints for minor standard traffic ordinances (i.e. speeding, failure to stop at a stop sign, etc.) can be disposed of through a court appearance (marked at the bottom - front of the citation) or through payment of a fine associated with the offense (marked on back of the citation). If payment of the fine is chosen, it must be paid on or before the court date marked on the bottom - front of the citation.
Notices to Appear for major standard traffic ordinance violations and uniform public offense codes may only be disposed of through a mandatory court required appearance. The court date is be marked on the bottom - front of your Notice to Appear. Court begins promptly at 8:30 am on that date.
