City of Lansing Golf Tournament

Every year in June, the City of Lansing Golf Tournament is held at Great Life Golf & Fitness / Leavenworth Country Club in Lansing. The Friday event is enjoyed by 10 - 20 teams of 4 players during a day filled with prizes on every hole.

Contests include longest drive, shortest drive, closest to the water without going in, longest putt, etc. In the past, at the par 3 holes, there are special hole-in-one prizes including roundtrip airline tickets, $10,000 cash prize, golf clubs, and a flat-screen television. At last year’s event, one person had a chance to make a 50-foot putt for $5,000.
